About the speaker: 

Tipparat Pongthanapanich is an Aquaculture Officer at FAO. She leads regional initiatives on aquaculture transformation, innovation, investment and low‑carbon practices. She serves as Lead Technical Officer for FAO’s seaweed project in Indonesia, supporting sector revitalization through improved nurseries, species diversification, and strengthened entrepreneurship capacity of seaweed farmers and enhanced partnerships.
